Our Mission and The Golden Rule

Every one of the ten great living religions of the world embraces the universal truth of The Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you."

You can read statements from many religions here.

In 1984, Dr.Rhoberta Shaler read these ten selections from the ten major world religions and had the thought:

"What if every person in the world who claims one of these religions as their truth were to practice just that one tenet...all in the same time frame of three months? It would have an astonishing effect on harmony and peace in the world."

The Spiritual Living Network™ was a seed. Throughout the years, Dr. Shaler has talked about this vision with hundreds of people and her books on optimal living have been published in nine languages.

NOW IS THE TIME!

The overall  mission of the Spiritual Living Network™ is to educate, encourage and empower people worldwide to live the spiritual principles they say they accept, understand and believe.

The global mission is to invite every person who accepts the truth of The Golden Rule to embody it with every thought, word and action from September 1 to November 30, 2008. Programs will be offered every day for that period by phone, email and onsite to inspire, motivate and activate the moment-to-moment practice of spiritual principles.

Be sure to subscribe to the Spiritual Living Digest to stay attuned to and become a part of this mission. We welcome you as a companion on this journey with us.
